====== Quark Tweaks ======
**Quark Tweaks** is a module within Quark that focuses entirely on modifying vanilla mechanics instead of adding new blocks, tools, or mobs. Its design goal is to improve small details of gameplay while staying true to the vanilla style.

===== Active Tweaks =====
These tweaks are part of the Tweaks module. Availability depends on configuration, but all are designed to be lightweight vanilla adjustments.

  * **Safe Mounts:** Players riding cannot attack the animal they are currently mounted on.  
  * **Chicken Shedding:** Chickens will drop Feathers like they drop Eggs.  
  * **Chicken Shearing:** Chickens can be sheared (takes 1 damage, drops 1 Feather).  
  * **Sheep Armor:** Sheep gain 1 armor point when they have Wool.  
  * **Glass Shards:** Adds Glass Shards as a drop.  
  * **Ladder Drop Down:** Right-clicking a Ladder with another Ladder places it beneath.  
  * **Ladder Sliding:** Looking down lets you slide faster on Ladders.  
  * **Slabs to Blocks:** Slabs can be converted back to blocks.  
  * **Stairs to Blocks:** Stairs can be converted back to blocks.  
  * **Proper Stair Math:** Crafting stairs yields 8 instead of 4.  
  * **Stackable Minecarts:** Minecarts stack up to 16.  
  * **Flint Tool Crafting:** Stone Tools can be crafted with Flint.  
  * **Clay Conversion:** Clay Blocks can be converted back into Clay items.  
  * **Minecart Block Placement:** Right-clicking a Minecart with a block converts it into its specialized form (e.g., Furnace Minecart).  
  * **Hoe Harvesting:** Using a Hoe on crops/grass breaks a 3×3 area (5×5 with Diamond).  
  * **Shave Snow Layers:** Right-click Snow with a Shovel to remove one layer (costs 1 durability).  
  * **Jump Boost Step Assist:** Jump Boost II grants Step Assist.  
  * **Knock on Doors:** Punching a Door makes a knock sound.  
  * **Effective Dragon’s Breath:** Brewing consumes the Dragon’s Breath bottle (automation-friendly).  
  * **Armed Armor Stands:** Armor Stands have arms by default.  
  * **Burning Baby Zombies:** Baby Zombies burn in daylight.  
  * **Sign Editing:** Right-click a Sign to edit it.  
  * **Enderman Anti-Cheese:** Players hiding under 2-block ceilings are teleported to the Enderman they attack.  
  * **Burning Torches:** Torches smelt in Furnaces as fuel (400 ticks).  
  * **Villagers follow Emerald Blocks:** Villagers follow players holding a Block of Emerald.  
  * **Sponges dry in the Nether:** Wet Sponges dry instantly when placed in the Nether.  
  * **Automatic Recipe Unlock:** Unlocks all recipes in the Recipe Book automatically.  
  * **Improved Sleeping:** AFK players (idle 2 min) don’t count toward the sleep requirement.  
  * **Axe Leaf Harvesting:** Axes break Leaves at shear speed (but no drops).  
  * **Compasses Everywhere:** Compasses work in Nether (point to entry portal) and End (point to exit portal).  
  * **Blastproof Shulker Boxes:** Blast resistance raised to 2000.  
  * **Dye Any Wool:** Wool can be re-dyed, and 8 at a time.  
  * **Squid Inking:** Squids blind attackers with ink when hurt.
