Waystone Recipe

The Waystone is the core block of the Waystones mod. It creates fast travel points that can be linked with other waystones and warp items.

• Place a Waystone to create a teleport point
• Right-click once to activate it
• After activation, it appears in your warp list
• Travel between any two activated Waystones

Ingredients:

• 1 Warpstone (center)
• Surround with one type of block:
  1. Stone Bricks
  2. Sandstone
  3. Mossy Stone Bricks
  4. Cobbled Deepslate
  5. End Stone
  6. Blackstone
  7. Red Nether Bricks
  8. Purpur Blocks
  9. Prismarine Blocks
  10. Mud Bricks

Layout (3×3):

• Warpstone in the middle
• 3 matching blocks across the bottom
• 1 matching block on each side of the Warpstone
• 1 matching block directly above the Warpstone
• (Leave the upper corners blank)

• Interact to activate the Waystone
• Sneak + Right-click to rename or group it
• Interact again to open the warp menu
• Select another activated Waystone as your destination
• Teleports can be free or require XP/items, depending on server config

• Activated Waystones are stored per player
• Players can teleport only to Waystones they have discovered
• Sharestones and Warp Plates provide public or linked alternatives
• Cross-dimension travel works unless disabled in configs

• Villages may generate with Waystones pre-placed
• Server operators can pre-place Waystones as global hubs
• Waystones can be set to Global, making them available to everyone
• Ideal for travel networks, spawn hubs, and player bases

❓ Q: Do I need XP or items to teleport? 💡 A: By default no. Costs can be enabled in configs.

❓ Q: Can I teleport across dimensions? 💡 A: Yes, unless restricted in the config.

❓ Q: How do I rename a Waystone? 💡 A: Sneak + Right-click to open the naming menu.

❓ Q: What’s the difference between Waystones and Sharestones? 💡 A: 🪨 Waystones are personal/private by default. 🎨 Sharestones are public networks by color.

❓ Q: Can I delete broken or old entries from my list? 💡 A: Yes. Hold Shift in the warp menu to remove them.
