Waystones 🪨✨

Fast travel made simple. Activate a waystone, then warp with stones, scrolls, plates, or other waystones.

• ➡️ Use a placed waystone to hop to another
• ➡️ Carry warp items to travel from anywhere
• ➡️ Sharestones create public networks
• ➡️ Warp Plates teleport players, mobs, and even items

• 🏘️ Find a village waystone or craft your own
• ✋ Activate it with a right-click
• 📜 Use a Warp Stone or Scroll in hand to open the travel menu
• ✏️ Rename/Group by sneak + right-click

• 🪨 Waystone — Core block. Activate and teleport to any other discovered waystone
• 🎨 Sharestones — Public, color-coded networks. Always available to everyone
• 🌀 Portstones — One-way pads to jump to waystones or sharestones
• 🟦 Warp Plate — Two linked pads. Moves players, mobs, and items
• 💎 Warp Stone — Reusable handheld warp. Has durability and optional cooldown
• 📜 Warp Scroll — Single-use warp to any waystone
• 🏠 Return Scroll — Warp back to nearest or last used waystone
• 🪄 Portal Scroll — Opens a temporary portal to a chosen waystone
• 🔖 Bound Scrolls — Teleport directly to a bound target
• 🔹 Dormant Shard — Used in Warp Plates to create Attuned Shards
• 🔸 Attuned Shard — Links Warp Plates together

Teleport methods

• 🏛️ At a waystone: open the list and select
• 🎒 From inventory: hold right-click on a Warp Stone or scroll
• 🎨 Sharestones: connect with others of the same type
• 🟦 Warp Plates: stand on the source pad to warp

Dimensions

• 🌌 Cross-dimension travel works by default (server packs may restrict it)

• 💰 Costs — Enable/disable XP or item costs
• 👀 Visibility — Private, global, shard-only, or sharestone-limited
• 🏘️ Village spawn rate — Adjust waystone generation
• 🖱️ Inventory warp button — Toggle on/off
• 🌌 Dimension rules — Allow or restrict cross-world travel

• /waystones list <player> — Show placed waystones
• /waystones list <player> all — Show placed + activated
• /waystones count <player> — Total count
• /waystones gui <player> — Open their warp screen

• 🚫 Can’t use at spawn — Spawn protection blocks it. Move or change protection
• 📦 Recipes missing — Likely pack-specific. Use a recipe viewer
• 🌱 No village waystones — Increase spawn rate in config
• 🗑️ Cleanup lists — Shift-click to delete broken entries
• 🔗 Warp Plates — Insert Attuned Shards into destination plates to link

• ⏳ Early game: Find a village waystone + craft a Return Scroll
• 🔮 Mid game: Upgrade to a Warp Stone for reusable travel
• 🏗️ Base logistics: Warp Plates for farms, mob rooms, and storage runs

❓ Q: Do I need XP or items to teleport? 💡 A: By default no. Server owners can enable XP, item, or cooldown costs.

❓ Q: Can I teleport across dimensions? 💡 A: Yes, unless restricted in the config.

❓ Q: How do I rename a waystone? 💡 A: Sneak + Right-click to open the naming screen.

❓ Q: What’s the difference between Waystones and Sharestones? 💡 A: 🪨 Waystones are private unless made global. 🎨 Sharestones are always public networks by color.

❓ Q: Can I delete old or broken waystones from my list? 💡 A: Yes. Hold Shift in the warp list to remove broken entries.

❓ Q: Do mobs and items work with Warp Plates? 💡 A: Yes. Anything standing on the plate will teleport.

❓ Q: Why isn’t my waystone spawning in villages? 💡 A: Some worldgen mods suppress them. Raise the spawn rate in configs.
