The Combat Academy is where Trainees are trained to become Guards for your colony. Trainees will live at the academy during training, freeing up beds elsewhere. Once training is complete, they become eligible for Guard jobs.

The number of trainees that can be trained at the same time increases with the level of the Combat Academy.

Trainees need armor and weapons (which must be provided). They will perform training routines but will not defend the colony until they graduate.
