Quark

Quark is a fully modular Minecraft mod by Vazkii that adds many small, vanilla-style features which you can enable or disable individually. The design goal is simple: anything added by Quark could plausibly fit into vanilla without breaking its gameplay style.

Quark groups features into configurable modules. Common categories include: Automation, Building, Client, Management, Mobs, Tools, Tweaks, World. You can toggle entire modules or individual features.

Below are examples that show the style of Quark. This list is not exhaustive. See the official feature index for all items.

• Feeding Trough: Automates animal feeding and breeding with balancing rules that prevent farm bloat.
• Dispensers Place Blocks: Dispensers can place many blocks directly, enabling new automation lines.
• Chute: Accepts items from hoppers and drops them precisely from its center. Redstone togglable.
• Chains Connect Blocks / Chain Linking: Chains link vehicles and attach to moved blocks for piston contraptions.
• Ender Watcher: Emits redstone when looked at. Range-based strength on newer versions.

• Vertical Slabs, palettes, variant blocks, and decorative sets to expand building without changing core balance.
• Trowel: Right-click to place a random block from your hotbar for natural paths and ruins.
• Seed Pouch: Stores up to ten stacks of seeds and dispenses them conveniently.
• Torch Arrows: Fire an arrow that places a torch where it lands or ignites entities. Works with dispensers.
• Pickarang: A boomerang pickaxe that mines blocks at range and returns with drops. Crafted with a Heart of Diamond if Stonelings are enabled.

• Inventory QoL: Sorting, hotbar swap, chest search, crafting helper, auto-walk, and more client niceties.
• Metal Buttons: Gold for short pulses, Iron for long pulses.
• Randomizer and Inductor components for compact logic.
• Weather Sensor: Emits a full signal when raining or snowing, invertible like a daylight sensor.

• World gen and biome tools plus renewable loops like Endermites forming Shulkers when burrowing into Purpur.
• Stonelings and other lightweight mobs that drop items used by Quark features in some packs.

Many packs include a curated subset of Quark features. For example, RLCraft documents Quark items like Ancient Tome and Heart of Diamond that integrate into its recipes and progression. Specific items and availability can differ by pack. Always check the pack wiki or config.

• Oddities and Friends are listed on the official site as companion content that expands or complements Quark features. Availability varies by version.
• Charm is a separate mod inspired by Quark that enhances vanilla with optional cross-compat when both are present. It is not required for Quark.
