Mine & Slash is a full RPG overhaul mod that replaces Minecraft's default combat and item progression. On the Shadows of Aethro Forge server, it forms the backbone of character growth, loot hunting, and dungeon grinding.

* 🧍 Leveling System – Kill mobs to gain XP and level up your character. * 🗡️ Gear Drops – Weapons, armor, and accessories drop from enemies and chests. * 🧪 Affixes and Rarities – Gear has randomized stats, elements, bonuses, and rarity tiers. * 🧙 Skill Trees – Customize your playstyle with magical, melee, or ranged abilities. * 🛡️ Elements – Gear and mobs have elemental types: Fire, Water, Thunder, Nature, etc. * 📦 Gear Crafting & Salvaging – Upgrade, reroll, and salvage gear using crafting benches. * 📈 Scaling – The world and mobs scale to your level. No more easy mode.

1. Kill mobs to start earning XP. 2. Loot chests and enemies to collect Mine & Slash gear. 3. Equip gear using the character inventory (default key: `I` or open via hotbar button). 4. Spend stat/skill points as you level up. 5. Use Identify Scrolls to reveal mystery gear stats. 6. Use a Repair Station to restore gear durability. 7. Craft gear using Rune Words, Affix Items, and Salvage Materials.

* Always check gear level requirements — you can’t use high-level gear early on. * You’ll get stat and talent points as you level. Spend them wisely — they affect survivability and damage. * Mystic Vendors (if found or added) may sell useful gear or identify items. * Gear has durability and will eventually need repairing. * Rare gear can dramatically change your combat style — keep an eye out for synergies.

Q: My sword disappeared when I crafted it. Bug? A: No, crafting consumes components. Double-check recipes and keep backups.

Q: Why am I doing no damage to mobs? A: Check your gear's level and elements. You're probably underleveled or missing damage synergy.

Q: Can I use vanilla tools and weapons? A: You can, but they’re junk compared to Mine & Slash gear. Upgrade ASAP.

Q: Where do I spend my talent points? A: Press `I`, go to the Talent Tree tab, and allocate them per your build.
