Apotheosis: Potions, Villagers, Garden

Focus Potion charms, new arrows, trader upgrades, crop tweaks, Ender Lead

Enchanting note

  • Skulls add Quanta.
  • Candles add Arcana.

Use them to fine-tune thresholds.

Potions

New potion effects

  • Sundering: +20% damage taken (inverse of Resistance).
  • Ancient Knowledge: multiplies XP gain (4× or 8×).
  • Also: Absorption, Luck, Mining Fatigue, Wither, Haste, Resistance.

Ancient Knowledge + XP

  • Combine with Knowledge of the Ages to skyrocket XP gain at spawners.
  • Brew from Bottles o’ Enchanting or via infusion paths.

Potion Charms

  • Craft: 3 of a potion + Blaze Powder.
  • Extends duration, drip-feeds effect. Breaks when empty.
  • Infusion can make charms unbreakable (requires ~100 levels).
  • Benefits: no potion particles, stackable effects, toggle on/off.

Villagers

Fletching Table finally works:

  • Broadhead Arrows: Bleeding, armor-piercing.
  • Obsidian Arrows: +20% damage.
  • Explosive Arrows: small radius blast.
  • Iron/Diamond Mining Arrows: mine blocks in arrow arc (diamond works on obsidian).

Wandering Trader changes:

  • Can sell skulls, enchanted diamond gear, Rune-forged items, and better misc trades.
  • Still some junk, but higher ceiling.

Garden

Ender Lead

  • Lead + Ender Pearl + Gold Ingot.
  • Punch passive mobs to store; right-click to summon.
  • Doesn’t work on villagers/traders.

Plant growth

  • Sugar Cane up to Y=255.
  • Cactus to 5 blocks.
  • Bamboo ~32 blocks.
  • All configurable.

Quick notes

  • Sundering vs Resistance potions counter each other.
  • Potion Charms give permanent buffs — best setup is permanent Speed, Haste, Strength, Absorption, Knowledge, Water Breathing.
  • Ender Lead is invaluable for moving animals across terrain.
